Some of you may have heard about this challenge that is called “100 happy days”. This challenge was so popular last year that almost everybody was doing it. yes, tons of people were actually started this challenge, but sadly NOT all of them finished the challenge. So last year, I dared myself to start this challenge, not because I wanted to be cool and hip, but it was more for me. I was convinced by what 100 Happy Days website said about this challenge and how many people’s lives were changed. I’m not the type of person who sticks with things for too long, but for some reasons, I did with this challenge. I finished strong for 100 days straight, that’s a huge accomplishment for me, haha!
So, at first I asked myself if this will work and surprise surprise, it did! I felt like I was happier, more positive, more optimistic and I started to see things differently. If you weren’t familiar with the challenge, you can visit the website for more details. But if I can describe it in my own words, it is so easy, everyday, for 100 days straight, you post a picture of something that makes you happy that day. it can be as simple as a beautiful weather to maybe something bigger like you just got proposed or a job promotion. Whatever it is, doesn’t matter how big or how small, you have to post a picture of one happy thing. it may seems like nothing, but day by day, picture by picture, you will feel the difference. For me, this challenge trained me to try to see things from the other side. For you to see, find, feel and realize at least one happy thing in your life a day.
So, if you’re encouraged or wondering about this challenge, maybe you should start do it. I am going to do this challenge again this year and see if this will impact my life the same way it did the first time around.
My challenge will start tomorrow, October 8 ’15, if I stick to it I should be finished around January 15 ’16 (if I counted correctly :P). Join me and let’s be a happier and a better version of ourselves.
