TA-DA! you read that right, this blog will be a first impression blog. I thought this would be fun.
disclaimer : the content of this blog will be based on my personal opinion and it is not sponsored by Starbucks, although I would love to one day. š
okay, as you may have heard recently that Starbucks finally announced a new fall flavor after four years. yep, all you’ve seen for the last four years around fall season was always the infamous #PSL aka Pumpkin Spice Latte. and it has changed for the last week or so. Starbucks announced its new flavorĀ for fall and it is called #TGL or Toasted Graham Latte.
Toasted Graham Latte – Graham an sweet cream meet steamed milk and our signature espresso, then are finished off with a sprinkling of cinnamon graham crumbles for a less sweet perfect treat. (from Starbucks’ app, under Toasted Graham Latte)
when I first heard about this, I was super excited. the reason was because i am not a fan of pumpkin. a little fun fact about me — I LOVE fall and winter, but i’m not a fan of their flavors or scents, such as cinnamon, pumpkin, spiced flavored things and etc. anyway, continue..Ā
i was excited to try it, especially that I love graham crackers! so, i went to Starbucks and got myself a grande #TGL. when i first had that drink in my hand, the smell of it was so delicious! i couldn’t wait to take a sip of that deliciousness. after it cooled down a little, i took a sip and my first impression of that was “what is this?!”. It didn’t taste like toasted graham at all. i don’t know if the barista didn’t make it right or that just how it should taste like. but i wasn’t impressed at all. it tasted just like a basic Starbucks drink.
- will i purchase it again? yes, just because i want to know if it would taste the way it tasted last time.
- was it worth the price? i would say no, because like i said, the taste was way under my expectations.
so, that was my honest opinion about the new #TGL. please let me know how your experience with #TGL has been and what did you think about it.
lots of love,
Nanda š
