Happy belated Halloween! I don’t think that is a thing but let us all just play along and say that it is a thing. In my 27 years of life time I think I have only done Halloween four times including this year. My first Halloween was in 5th grade, my first school year in USA and I want to say I dressed as an angel but I could be wrong since that was so long ago and my memory is a little blurry. Second time was my either my junior year or senior year in HS and I dressed as a doctor (because it was cheap). Few years ago I did a DIY Cat costume using a black hoodie that I sew a DIY ears on and black leggings but that year it was a fail Halloween because no one did Halloween that day. My friends and I took pictures and ended it there. Then this year, I also did a DIY costume that cost me about 11 dollars. I was a cross between a mime and a burglar! I was probably dressed more like a burglar than a mime, although, my intention was a mime but I just could not get a white face on myself but I was also not a burglar because mask was not allowed. My friends also did DIY costumes and all ended up around $10, which was not bad at all. We used our every clothes and added a little accessories.
I’m not a party goer but I did want to do something Halloween so my friends and I (and a guy that my friend accidentally invited and was, well, I would not say that he was not creepy) went to Franklin Institute where they had a 21+ event where you can play with their stuff and watch a little show and get beer or wine. I would say it was a safe Halloween but I sad fun watching and trying their “toys”. I hope you all had a fun and safe Halloween as well!
Love,
jule
